I can't say enough good things about my experience with Alternative Car Storage. The owner, Fred Topinka, is a pleasure to work with in all areas. I never had any worries with my car in storage, and Fred was always able to accommodate any changes I needed to make. Noteworthy is the fact that after 10 months of storage I was able to drive the car without any issue. It was always returned in pristine condition, with a full tank of gas. The only reason I have stopped using this facility is because I have sold my car. I would not consider storing my car anywhere else.

Excellent facility: easily accessible, clean, organized.
Excellent service: responsive, friendly, knowledgeable, goes above and beyond. I’ve used Alternative to store my vehicles going to and coming from the west coast via carrier.
Every time, Fred and his team have my cars tucked away safely. They also coordinate with the carriers. They make this process easy and worry-free.
Last night I flew in at about 6:30pm and couldn't get to Alternative Car Storage until 8:00pm. Though Fred was unable to meet me in person, he had Paul wait for me. Paul was so nice, friendly, and hospitable.
These guys are great. They do what they say, and they do it so well.
I highly recommend Alternative Car Storage.

Fred is a gentleman and an all around great guy! He takes meticulous care of his location and we know our 1971 Corvette is in safe and secure hands. Fred is always a pleasure to deal with. I stored a car with him in the past and it was even detailed before being put away (thanks to Dirty Harry's next door). He was even able to squeeze my car in with a full house in the middle of winter when I was in a pinch. Wouldn't consider storing with anyone else. Very clean, organized and secure environment to keep your pride and joy safe!

Three Car Garage
This private space is part of the Alternative Car Storage facility. It measures 408 square feet and will afford you a worry free, secure space for your most prize possessions.
This area comes complete with:
- wide track, 7,000 pound single lift
- three battery tenders
- driveway and separate doorway entry
- electric garage door opener with remote
- alarm system with motion sensors
- security cameras with play back
- heating and air conditioning
- backup generator system
- smoke detector and fire extinguisher
- inside water supply with hose

Executive Retrieval
System Program
Treat our facility as your private garage. For those who require 24/7 access to their vehicles we offer our E.R.S. program. It allows members to enter our ‘secured’ facility to pick-up their vehicle without an ACS attendant present.
Members:
- Enter the building using an individually coded pass card (credit card-style). The card registers time of entry and disarms the building in a secured and ‘monitored’ area.
- Then scan into the main storage facility from the secured area. Retrieve your car (which would be located on the ground level).
- Drive up to the exit door. Sensors will detect the reader in the vehicle and open the garage door and engage the exhaust fan.
- Drive out of the building. Sensors will register exit time and automatically close the door and rearm the entire facility.
– Storm Protection Program –
Our storm protection program is designed to keep your car safe and secure in our proven, protected facility.
The ACS facility is elevated from the roadway and, in the more than three decades we have owned the building, it has never flooded. During Super Storm Sandy and most recently Hurricane Ida the facility did not have any water intrusion.
Our program will keep your vehicle protected from the elements and at the same time maintain electric power using our back-up generator system.

This program is for storm applications only. Cost is based on the duration of the storm. If for any reason your home or property has been flooded or destroyed, you may continue your stay at the current monthly or daily rate.
